I used to say while walking the roads of my life, with the impetuous voice of the youth:

But one day I got lost in a maze of confusion. Tired and walking in circles, I broke my self imposed oath and there "she" was. The shadow of the past.
Following me in silent ever since the first day, with many valuable lessons of experience. I heard in silence what she had to say.
And I dont run away from her anymore. Now we are friends and allies. Parts of a whole story, chapters of the future and past. The only thing she wanted to tell me all of this time was:
"Go on and dont commit the same mistakes again now. . . "
and I promised and promise, that I will try . . .

Alberto, I am so happy you have made friends with the past! I agree with Denise, that life is a wheel turning round, and yes, this even means making the same mistakes more than once, but we make them as older wiser versions of ourselves, and we learn something new every time, and become stronger, so the things that once destroyed us we can recognize and feel deeply, but walk away from more quickly and with less damage. I wish you all the best, my friend. I would not want you to be anyone other than who you are, and if your past was what got you to this point, I am friends with her too.
Love this melding of pictures and words - nicely done. Sometimes painfully true, but if it wasn't for "her" we wouldn't be who we are, and as long as you're aware (which it sounds like you are), then we're getting somewhere!

Well, Alberto! I don't know if we are able to forgot the past or to change the way we are doing things!
Everything will stay hidden deep inside...
At least , that is what I understand during my life!
What is the solution?
To understand yourself, to love yourself, to trust yourself and to bring back the light in your life...
Why? Because a person with all this power in his hands will be sorrounded by love and will be stronger.
Life is not a circle ...is a spiral which emanates from a central point, getting progressively farther away as it revolves around the point...So go ahead Alberto...Go on...life , the spring, the sun is waiting for you!

Alberto, just wanted to stop in and say hi, see how things are going with you over here, I was under water for a while, but now at least have by head up for a breath of air... I guess we must both look back and forward, and keep the two balanced, for we are what we became where we have been, but can be anything we choose tomorrow... so must choose carefully.
