Just wanted to inform that for reasons of spam and all that,, I decided to activate the comment service by Disqus.com that in the paper, impplies no changes at all in the way we comment with blogger, except that now I can reply to each single comment, and you can add images and some other kind of media. And yes, a better and more efficient way to moderate all the spam and such. In order to set a comment, you can write it in the corresponding place and do either of the following things:

And the old city in the north was there, waiting for me stray son . . . .

. . . but despite all the joy, some kind of an “emptiness”. I had still one thing to accomplish. I wanted, I needed to see her, at least once, at least just to say goodbye. No explanations, not to beg at all, just to get on with life and leave a lot of stories untold. All the disappointments I had left behind before, with just a little hesitation, maybe even a little dose of sorrow but then days and time buried it all under a deep tomb of oblivion. Maybe nothing to feel proud about after all. But this time have been different. Was it that she was very special?? She was (and is) for sure. Or maybe I am getting older; every time is getting harder and harder to deal with the facts. This time I really felt like the hell with pride and dignity, and common sense, just deeply wanted to tell her: hold me!! For the last time, before beginning my fall. All this time pretending to be tough, just in order to hide what is crystal-fragile. Maybe it is not a matter of age, but about my heart, or my soul. Or both. Maybe I have left so many pieces of them along the road.

So I went to the farthest north, just to meet her, but failed. Not a failure in the proper sense of the word, rather, I hesitated. At the middle of the way I turned around and got back. Maybe it was maturity and common sense the ones who advised me not to go any further with such nonsense, but for the first time in my life, I listened to them. “I surrender” said my defeated faith. “It is over” I said myself. It´s over and nothing will make the time to go back on its march. Leave that all behind, forever, for good. My faith collapsed and with it, I lost something else, something hard to describe.

Common sense, yeah, what a thing. Experience, maturity and all that. They advised me not to go any further with my nonsense. . . but the cost was and will be high. “What if. . .?” Eternal question. Barely satisfied with my last minute decision, I began my journey back, thinking, pretending to be cynic and smart.

But it was in the way back, watching all those landscapes passing before my eyes and the raucous sound of the bus erasing the destiny behind, that tiredness transformed itself into the key to a dream that made the things clear form me, finally all the answers, all the reasons, the long yearned consolation to a dumb, silent pain. . . .

“She arrived with the first days, of the cruel season of sun. The very moon had became a girl. She arrived and we both knew the true and how everything was going to end, but still we said nothing. Now she has gone. You have gone and have become, the same stranger you were before your arrive. And the moon has come back to her place, so far up there, so silent in the dark sky.

I went to look after you along with your promise, of a silent highway leading to paradise, walking together to the sunset. Solitary road at the edge of the World. It was supposed that you were going to explain me everything about life once in there and the long day would had, finally, came to an end. I have gone to look after you, you and your vision of a winter morning. A little cottage built of whispers and descriptions, located by the last of the seas. It was there where the life was supposed to begin. But once I arrived, I found nothing but dust and neglect. The cottage is just a ghost, of something that once was someone else´s reality. Worn away walls and a table in where a glass of wine was once poured while yet another summer was raining outside. I could even see that picture hanging on the wall, now so old, like a relic of bygone times. Do you remember it? A ladder and moon´s light. And the sky of December so starry. I didn’t sleep that night and thus, I did quit to the chance of dreaming, just in order to catch that very moment, for you. I have caught the stars –I said excited- and now I put them in your hand. The old picture still smells, it smells like fresh night. Then, when the story was still young.

But there are only traces of a remote existence, there, in the old cottage. Only the footprints of your wise cat, over the dust. I really had the hope to find someone real this time and not you, pretty lady who comes when in the madness. I must leave this place behind now since I realize it was only borrowed, as borrowed were her face and her story. And my happiness. Going back along the lonely road, to retrace my steps and walk back the mirage. But now I remember all that sudden, that there is another place where I could maybe find her. At the end of the road among woods and lonely meadows. There in where the spring is white. And I know every single street and corner of such place, I even remember that which was mundane, all the days that were never born. I remember the nights and the autumn´s afternoons. I remember your silhouette, cropped by the blue light in the window, sitting, while you confectioned treasures, only visible for them with a pure heart. And the cold nights with innocent movies about perfect love and other fairy tales. A warm blanket. And the privilege to drive away your loneliness. Why would we have to worry? Everything is going to be better tomorrow. It is supposed that the future got to be always happy. We must only wait and you will see. The radio playing a bunch of old songs early that and all the mornings. One and every single beautiful morning of every season, of what was supposed to be a new start. And just to contemplate you from my corner when you invited me to visit your world, my reward. And bring back to life, just for you, only for you, the long time ago extinct race of the angels. And write your story and transform it into a epopee. The greatest ever told. I know perfectly every street and every corner and it is not difficult for me to find your place. It is true that my heart beats a little bit faster with every step. This time I will get it my way. I rehearse the meeting in my mind and all the words I am supposed to say. Here I am, let me hug you, I want to live if life feels like this. You are real, yes, you are not an image. You walk and breath. You smile and cry, love and hate. You called me and wrote me in the middle of the night, so many times, looking for consolation, when it was me the one who received it with your existence. You forged the beauty with your hands, transforming silver and metal into little worlds and pretty realities. It still hangs from my neck, those dreams you framed for me in silver. Two words and within them the secret of the whole creation revealed. And there it is. I can see it, the place where you live. There is nothing but to knock the door and the long day would have come to an end.” Yes, may I help you?” The unknown woman asks. I don’t know, it was supposed that she lived here, she the one in which the moon incarnated. But she has gone. “Could you repeat me your name? I found it familiar” My name doesn’t matter anymore. Ever since now my name will be sadness. All the tears and the rain splashing over the windows and the pavement. “Someone has left a letter for you” What a surprise, what an odd world. “It was a long ago that we arrived to this place and there was only a box and the dominant presence of a remote and forgotten existence. In the box an old envelope, with your name on it, dedicated to the pilgrim, the walker, to the story teller one”

Ballad of expected desolation. Maybe if I try with all my strength, I could manage to wake up from this nightmare. Maybe if I try with all my strength, the life could end right now. But no. I open the old envelope and a piece of paper inside. “EVER DREAM” and a perfume that vanishes. Two words and within them the secret of the whole creation revealed. She has not gone. I have found her. The end of the long road and search, today Spring begins. -“Is what you expected to read sir?”- Is that and more. What does it matter now, the color of your eyes? Blue as the sky of the first dawn. Blue Moon. Now, at last the long day ends. No mirage to walk back. This world belongs all to you and you in every second, in every place. You my beautiful that visits me when in the madness and the loneliness. Belong to you all the faces and all the tales. Belong to you all the roads and your spirit in the wet grass and in every blooming flower. Please, look at me tonight when sleeping, get into my life through my window like the first time. Now I have to go. And you as well. I promise not to cry. See you when in a better world, one in where the dreams may come true. See you when in a better life. And now I am leaving to the beginning, along the solitary highway. The sun is setting in this, the last of all days. And you standing there by the road, the moon made a woman. The moon who shone in my darkest night until transforming it into the brightest day. You wave your hand saying farewell and I leave you back. Faraway and so close at the same time. But forever in my heart. I am not going to cry since I know now that all the roads lead back to you. The whole world is yours and I along with it. I used to say while walking the roads of my life, with the impetuous voice of the youth:

But one day I got lost in a maze of confusion. Tired and walking in circles, I broke my self imposed oath and there "she" was. The shadow of the past.

Following me in silent ever since the first day, with many valuable lessons of experience. I heard in silence what she had to say.

And I dont run away from her anymore. Now we are friends and allies. Parts of a whole story, chapters of the future and past. The only thing she wanted to tell me all of this time was:

"Go on and dont commit the same mistakes again now. . . "

and I promised and promise, that I will try . . .

It is raining, tears from the sky. The clouds or the angels shed those that I no longer have.

That girl, the first i ever saw which smiles. Imperfect, thus i am glad she was real. Yes, she smiling, doing her everyday work. She dreams with a future that is already written in marble lines. She ask me if I´ll come back, I have nothing but to lie. I dont belong in your world i shout, deep inside my mind. I rave as mad and refuse to accept the true. But tomorrow you will follow your life and i will have vanished for never to come back. The dream is falling down to pieces, the dream cries knowing is condemned to die. I only draw and tattoo in my mind with indelible ink of obsession, her voice, her face, her instant of existance in that of mine.

I tatoo it frenziedly, for never to forget in my life. And maybe it is a luck despite it all, never to see her again. In that way I imagine her in a fantastic land, in an impossible life. And I imagine somebody pass and watch through the window of our wonderland and smile with jealous. But i walk and listen in my mind, the Karl Johan´s blues, the requiem of a dying Utopy. Such a fantastic thing can´t happen in this, the life. That is why i better rave and write an essay within my madness. What a luck can´t be able to see her again, because then, i spare my self the taste of the disappointment and have for my self a fairytale to write within my mind. . .

I tried to convince my self about such a ridiculous consolation while was walking, in the last days of my yet unforgettable adventure, "there will be chance for many more, both happy and sad" i said to my self, while listening as background the blues in the voice of a sax.

I put the resigned smile and the tears, they are courtesy of the sky.

It smells like Xmas in the street.

I bought a bag with almonds to this man, but it had no crunching sweets inside.

It had something more, dont ask me what.

But it was good, good as nothing else.

And it mades me happy, it mades me smile.

Somehow it had a taste like Christmas and candles. . .

. . . somehow It had a smell, a taste, like that when i was a child.

In motion, in colors impossible ever to reproduce.

They look perfect and have smell, sounds, even music perhaps.

I was walking up to the hill and turned my self around. I discovered such a sight lying behind. The wind blowing the golden autumn leaves, dead but waiting for another live to arrive. I enjoyed the sight and kept staring while the time swept the day´s light.

Lots of conclusions and thoughts, the past so remote that seemed impossible, only the present which exists with its lies, so glorious.

The fear had came to an end, long live the peace.

I followed my way up to the hill, waiting for newer sights.

Down there in the playground, some lines written over a roof:

"They said ¡sit down!!. . .

. . .but i stood up"

And that was what i did ever since, to stand up, despite it all.

One Year of Landscapes of a Life, Thanks for Going The Road with Me

Next November 11th this Blog will turn 1 year old and what a wonderful journey it has been. A journey that began with lots of good will, crazy dreams but above it all, with faith. And of course, feeling nervous and sometimes hesitating, i use to wonder my self sometimes "would there be somebody interested in following the adventures, in watching the little frames of light, that conforms the landscapes of a life?" A humble anonymous life, but maybe not that anonymous anymore as i have had the HUGE privilege of discovering and get acquainted with so many wonderful people, (yes, i´m talking about YOU ALL) that if somebody had told me about it a year ago, definetively i hadn´t been able to believe it at all. And there is no doubt that has been the best thing this blogger experience has offered me, the best present anyone could receive, the people, the faces, the voices and one thousand priceless experiences, words, comments and stories you all have shared. You and only you give life to this blog. It has been a road plenty of experiences, of new lessons to be learned, fades of all kind, joyful moments and disappointments. All sort of contrasts , like the very life itself. I wrote then in my first post "there are not a more heroic, unbeliveable, valuable, FANTASTIC history in this world, than the history that we all , you and me, write day after day. Suffering, smiling, walking, living and why not? dreaming. A long road is still to be walked, and it is exciting to think on what is yet to come, what kind of colors and faces are to be discovered. . ."

But wish not to bore you, and rather say THANKS to every one of the outstanding characters that have been part of this tale, that i wish never to get to an end.

Owen, Henk, you great guys and friends, the first adventurers i found in the vast sea, when i had just recently gone sailing. Thanks for being part of this since the beginning, for believing and encouraging me to keep on going. I will never forget about all the nice moments. =)

And to all my fantastic unbelievable NORWEGIAN crew, you guys are incredible and everyone of you deserves and special place in my thoughts now.

Gry, you, with your lovely pictures plenty of magic and "kjempenydelig stemning" which gave me the inspiration for starting my photo adventure, you have been also since the beginning here, thanks for believing and for all your support and encouraging words. May your live be as colorfull as your pictures. And thanks to Viking as well, give him a hug.

Charlotte, master of light, a genius in your art but above it all a wonderful mom. I can´t believe that such a mix can be possible,,but certainly the result is wonderful.

I wish to say thanks for all your nice comments on the last post. I REALLY apreciate it,,this is what make the blogger experience so special. It is true that with all that warm support anything, even a nasty flu can be beaten.

Now i am feeling a little bit better, certainly i can´t stand quiet and calm for a while, i need to wander and stroll around, it is difficult enough not to be able to travel around the world such as for also being kept lying on a bed watching the days pass by. It is in moments like these when is possible to apreciate, even more if possible, how important and nice is to be health and thus,,fully enjoy all what life have to offer. Let´s size it with all our strenght.

Just when my favorite time of the year is about to arrive,,when the weather is neither freezing nor burning, and i become REALLY happy,,heck, i got a flu...

Yes,,everything have its cost i realize,,and with the Season shifting,,it also comes the time for those bothering bugs to take a feast, Swine influenza?? nah,,i don´t think so. But even so,, i took a time for make some shots of this curious flower that use to grow from one of those prickly cactus my mom has out there in the garden. As i am not exactly in my best condition, i decided to make some natural shots the old fashion way,,so no fireworks this time,,just light and color, the natural way !!

Some other cactus are about to bloom as well so stay tuned to see more pics,,meanwhile,,coffee, rest and aspirine.....

Flat Roof Panorama. How much do i like to catch places like this. Certainly, if you have previously visited this blog, this kind of pics may be already well known for you. Some months have passed by since the last time i went up there, and the image is slowly fading from my mind, so i thought it would be a good idea to convet this previously posted image into BW. I don´t know, but i have the idea that BW give a certain feeling of history, like evoking memories. I wonder if the memories are in fact in RGB or whatever,,but i prefer to think on them in B&W, who knows why, but i feel that it gives some kind of a romantic athmosphere, like an ancient movie.

Sometimes i am fed up, and want to get back to the classic, just the camera...

...and a common subject. Ok, probably even a boring one. Introducing my coffee cup. Sometimes i abandon my self to the idleness, while enjoying my favorite moment of the day and there is no better company that my cheap and kitsch extra - sized cup. A couple of shot with no aesthetic intention at all, just to caught the moment. Yes, there will be times for more complex things, but not now, not now....let´s just relax.

Well, after a forced "sport" interruption, I am resuming the subject on this lovely fortress.

Pictures,,all of these travel pictures were taken with that little pocket camera a good friend lent me and as a matter of fact, a long time ago. That was the genesis of my interest in photography. Now i like to come back with that pics and experiment with them, in order to give them new colors, shapes, new approaches to a subject. Sometimes i like them as dull as they originally were, sometimes i prefer loads of manipulation. I have to recognize as well, that sometimes i am a little bit grumpy and hate them. =) I do like so much to experiment, to try and try over and over again, until achieving the things to flow by themselves. I have no other goal but that, to let the things and feelings to flow by themselves, in harmony. The rest will come as a consequence.

The Oslo´s City Hall, designed by Arnstein Arneberg and Magnus Poulsson, see of the Nobel Peace Prize ceremony every year on December 10th, a view from the Akerhus Fortress.

St. Klara Church in Stockholm. Everybody who visit the city will meet this lovely old lady as soon as leaving from the Central Station.
